Who Are We?

Upon graduation, all participants of the NSSSA, as of right, become members of the NSSSA Alumni Association (NSSSAAA). The NSSSAAA provides high school graduates and past participants the opportunity to stay involved in the organization while also investing in its future.  The NSSSAAA functions to both keep alumni informed and involved with the organization through the various roles (chaperone, advisor, facilitator, etc.) as well as a means of providing professional and financial support to the organization and the students currently involved.

We work to create a variety ways in which the NSSSA alumnus may personal and financial contributions towards the organization that helped them become who they are today.  One example of this is collecting contributions towards enhancing the NSSSA experience (i.e. speaker fee funding or leadership scholarships).

In addition, we act as a bank of professionals to support conferences by providing facilitators for “How To” sessions, debriefing sessions or  organizational retreats.

Finally, we manage incoming donations to the NSSSAAA and decide in collaboration with the Executive of the NSSSA where these donations would be most appropriately used.
