New Business:

Caffeine: Caffeine is not permitted at any Nova Scotia Secondary School Students’ Association event, no matter what or who it is. Tea is a permittable alternative to coffee, but water is always best.

Alumni: Any alumni positions receiving application forms for their teams are to compile all of the information they receive into one list for each team, these lists will then be sent to the 3-Tions opposed to sending the 3-Tions each individual name.

Welcoming Video: It has been decided upon that a green screen will not be used in the production of the welcoming video for Foundations 2016. The video will follow the theme of foundations, in which the plot will be based around the members of cabinet all involved in building something. Each Metro Cabinet member is to bring in their own props to be used in the production of the welcoming video. The call time for all Metro Cabinet members to begin filming is 16:30 November 6, 2016 at Mount St. Vincent University.

Before the Conference: All members of the Metro Cabinet are reminded to eat good food, drink lots of water and rest well to prepare themselves for Foundations 2016. It has been requested that each member of the Metro Cabinet bring one role of duck tape with them to Foundations 2016. At least 30 clipboards are needed to be used at the Metro Regional conference. In the past Lockview High School has assisted by lending these clipboards to the NSSSA for past conferences and will soon be contacted about potentially lending the clipboards again.

Miscellaneous: All members of the Metro Cabinet participating in filming the five days of conference video entitled Describe the NSSSA in One Word are to stay after the meeting is adjured to film. On November 11th, 2016 members of the Metro Cabinet are to arrive at Mount St. Vincent University by 17:00, bring with them food, money, water, a conference itinerary, a positional itinerary along with a list of all important rooms being used at Foundations 2016 and what their purpose is.

Taryn Hanrahan motioned to adjourn the meeting at 17:19 and Jillian Ryan seconded said motion.
