Hello Everyone!

Our names are Thomas Keagan and Paige Clarke, and we are your Co-Premier’s of Chignecto Region for the 2012-2013 year. We’re extremely hyped about this year and for all the NSSSA events planned! 
Chig’s Grade Nine Conference, S.T.R.E.A.M.S ‘12 (Students Taking Risks to Excel and Achieve Maximum Strengths), was hosted at Northumberland Regional High School (NRHS) in Alma on October 20th. We had a great turnout! Our positive feedback from students and advisors this year leaves us hopeful that we’ll have many more students at our regional conference and in years to come.


This year’s Chignecto Regional Conference will be held on the weekend of March 2nd and 3rd, at École Acadienne de Truro. Our conference is called O.C.E.A.N.S (Opening and Creating Exciting Adventures that Nourish the Soul), which will focus on allowing students to be optimistic and set positive goals that will help guide them to new heights.
Coming to conference is a great way to try something new, gain new skills, and make lots of new friends from around your region and the province. Here in Chignecto, we love to see everyone come in and just have an amazing time.
