Hello Strait Region! Your regional cabinet has been hard at work for your 2017's Regional Conference. This year, StF.X. University will be hosting the conference P.L.E.D.G.E. (Providing Leadership Everyday through Determination, Growth, and Excellence) 2017, an event open to all high school students in the Strait Region. It is an over-night weekend event packed with activities such as leadership skill building sessions, EPIC, How-To sessions, a dance, a talent show, and so much more! If you are a high school student looking for a fun-filled weekend where you can make new friends and build upon your leadership skills, PLEDGE 2017 is perfect for you! So register to be a delegate or skillbuilder now!
If you are no longer in high school but still wish to get involved don’t fret! There are opportunities for university students at NSSSA conferences too. If you are over the age of 18 you may apply to be a logistic, and if you are over the age of 19 you can apply for the chaperone position. Are you First Aid or Mental Health First Aid certified? Apply for these positions for PLEDGE 2017!
NSSSA Strait Region wants everyone who would like to attend our Regional Conference, PLEDGE 2017, to have the opportunity to do so. Those who may not be able to pay the full price of registration should complete and submit a Sponsorship Application form by October 31st. All applicants will be emailed a confirmation of their application upon its receipt.

All schools must send an advisor with their students to the event. The advisor must stay at the event at all times. This may be a teacher, parent, or other adult designated by the principal. The ratio is one advisor per every 12 students (1:12) MAXIMUM. Advisors attending the event must sign all delegate forms to indicate they acknowledge which students they are responsible for.
