Metro Regional Conference (ORBIT)
Calling all high school students! Join us for ORBIT (Outstanding Role-models Building Inclusive Teams) – an overnight, regional leadership conference that will be packed with leadership-based learning that will give you new skills, friendships, and the confidence to bring leadership back to your community! This 2-day (1 night) conference will bring together high school students (grades 9-12) from across Nova Scotia to grow as leaders, have fun, and come up with a project idea that will receive implementation support from the Metro Cabinet. The conference will be held at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax from November 15-16, 2025. With an approach rooted in the concept of servant leadership, you’ll learn about community leadership, inclusivity, project planning, communication, and advocacy. The cost is $70 per person, which covers all of your meals (served fresh in the dining hall!), overnight accommodation, and an out-of-this-world itinerary! Cape Breton – Victoria Junior Conference (WILDCARD)
Cape Breton – Victorias Junior conference WILDCARD (Where Inquisitive Leaders Defeat Complexities Applying Resourceful Determination). Are you in grades 6-10? Come join us on November 29th, 2025, from 9 AM-5 PM at NSCC Sydney Waterfront Campus! This is an amazing opportunity to make friends, build and learn leadership skills, connect with others, and grow! This year, we will be having a split juniors conference, where it will be split into ages 6-8 and 9-11! In grades 11 or 12, and interested in being a skillbuilder? Then this is the place for you! This conference is $25 per person! Our deadline to apply is the 27th, and our payment deadline is the 28th! Can’t wait to see you at WILDCARD 2025!
