HALIFAX — NSSSA is looking for 2-3 alumni to join the Governance & Policy Planning Committee and provide direct input on revamping NSSSA’s governing documents.
Established by the Provincial Cabinet in early 2025, the Governance & Policy Planning Committee is responsible for revamping NSSSA’s bylaws and supporting the Cabinet in organizational governance. The committee will engage in conversations around policy issues that will shape how NSSSA operates in alignment with its mission and guiding principles.
This committee will meet every two to four weeks for the duration of the year, with terms ending June 30, 2026.
The committee aims to have bylaw revisions ready by spring to be presented at the annual general meeting at the provincial conference in May 2026.
