Students
NSSSA is entirely for students, by students. Our conferences are run by our dedicated cabinet members made up of both high school students and alumni.
Event Roles
- Co-Premiers are high school students who lead regional cabinets. They are elected by their region at our annual provincial conference.
- The applications for other cabinet positions open at the end of each school year. These positions include:
- Secretary
- 3-tion
- Head School Rep
- Skillbuilding Co-Chair
- Public Relations
- Welcoming Co-Chair
- WENDY
Governance & Business Support Services
The opportunity to get involved doesn’t end with conference planning. Our Business Support Services team manages the vital behind-the-scenes work that keeps our organization running.

Alumni support our cabinets in many ways; we’re always happy to have them involved!
Alumni can…
- Attend a conference as a logistics or first aid volunteer
- Join a cabinet:
- Advisor
- Head Day/Night Logistics
- Head Physical First Aid
- Head Mental Health First Aid
- Facilitate a how-to session or present a keynote
- Donate or sponsor one of our events
Educators
We rely on educators to support students in their journey with NSSSA.
Educators can…
- Accompany their students to a conference as an adult chaperone
- Promote conferences and other NSSSA news in the classroom
