Cabinet and committee applications are now open!

Joining an NSSSA cabinet or committee is a great way to get involved and bring your leadership skills to a whole new level. Positions available for both current students and alumni. Application packages are due no later than July 1, 2026!

NSSSA is entirely for students, by students. Our conferences are run by our dedicated cabinet members made up of both high school students and alumni.  

Event Roles

  • Co-Premiers are high school students who lead regional cabinets. They are elected by their region at our annual provincial conference. 
  • The applications for other cabinet positions open at the end of each school year. These positions include:

Behind-the-Scenes Teams

The opportunity to get involved doesn’t end with conference planning. Join one of our teams that manage some of the vital behind-the-scenes work that keeps our organization running.

Alumni  

Alumni support our cabinets in many ways; we’re always happy to have them involved!  

Alumni can… 

  • Attend a conference as a logistics or first aid volunteer  
  • Join a cabinet:
    • Advisor 
    • Head Day/Night Logistics 
    • Head Physical First Aid 
    • Head Mental Health First Aid 
  • Facilitate a how-to session or present a keynote 
  • Donate or sponsor one of our events 

Educators 

We rely on educators to support students in their journey with NSSSA.  

Educators can… 

  • Accompany their students to a conference as an adult chaperone  
  • Promote conferences and other NSSSA news in the classroom
